Brass Sand Casted Spiral Necklace

Handmade sand casted brass spiral necklace on a gold filled chain. 
This spiral was first shaped out of clay by hand before being cast in recycled brass using ancient sand casting. 

I include spirals in a lot of my work, i'm naturally drawn to them and also really relish the meaning behind the spiral- birth, growth, evolution, death, and re-incarnation. It also represents our ability to spiral from the outer ego (the outside world) into the inner soul.
