Handmade Sterling Silver Ring- One-of-a-kind-02

This handmade recycled sterling silver ring has many feelings to it- medieval, punky, tribal, mystical. She is a bold statement ring, with dainty embellishments. The ring band is made from several pieces of sterling silver sheet instead of being a solid cast piece, meaning she is lightweight to wear. You wouldn't know she is there on your hand if it wasn't for the way she catches your eye with every hand gesture you make, or the beautiful, adorned feeling she fills you with. Gently hammered and textured on two sides, decorated with a small silver dome, individually made silver studs and engravings on either side. 

This ring is part of a 3-part collection of sterling silver rings. Making these rings has been a beautiful return to the skills and methods I favoured many moons ago! They encouraged a step back from sandcasting, and a move back towards traditional silversmithing, and creating truly one off unique pieces. Hands and hammers and saws and torches and flames, all working together to turn a sheet of silver into a multidimensional sculpture, a layered and carefully built piece of jewellery.
