This sterling silver locket was handcrafted from sheet metal and wire using traditional silversmithing techniques. A small space created to keep something small and special on you at all times, and close to your heart, as well as a beautiful adornment for your chest. The decoration on the front piece of course includes a spiral, a favourite symbol of mine, but was also inspired by Rangoli art I have seen, which are traditional Indian decorations, usually symbolising happiness, positivity and luck.
The locket is on a sterling silver trace chain and decorated with East African clay beads.
